Trex 250 SE Flybarless: Updated 10/5/10

Most current state is about 250-260 grams.

- Trex 250 SE Kit (No Electronics - Ebay $139.99 USD)
- KDE CNC Bottom Plate
- Boca Bearings for mainshaft
- Align 205mm carbon blades
- DIY carbon tail rotor push rod
- 15T pinion
- 120T main gear
- Microheli CNC side braces (from MH FBL head kit)
-37mm tail blades on very windy days
-40mm tail blades on not so windy days
-Removed tail boom braces

Electronics
- Skookum SK-720 Flybarless Controller w/Spektrum Satellite
- Castle Creations 10 amp BEC
- Castle Creations 25 amp ESC
- Scorpion HK2206-3900kv BL motor
- Hitec 5065mg's for the cyclic @ 6v and with Karbonite gears
- Hyperion DS11 GCB @ 6v for Tail

Update 3/2/13: Latest re-incarnation!

I've been flying this little bad boy since Dec 2009. It started out as plain flybarred 250, and the attached pics with the green canopy and fin is the latest setup. My goal was to lighten it up and simplify it as much as I could.

	very nice setup, i am curious as to the side braces? cant seem to find them, you list Microheli CNC side braces (from MH FBL head kit) link? is this what was used to support the back side frame so the SK720 can fit in? thanks

Yes. The side braces are not sold seperately, and thus are only available with the flybarless head assembly....$35.95 USD
