Agreed... it will not be recouped this year, but the year will help offset some cost of tooling, suppliers, etc..

Either way, i'm anxious to see the 700! Bring it on!

mahbouni 02-29-2012 07:24 PM

Yep, bring it on. There are only two 700's I'm interested in... this and the MSH 700.

Well no one is more Ancy for a true Logo 700 then me. As of today other then x7 and ballistic I've owned or flown everything else. While some recent competitors machines have done "ok" I've relearned you can't replace the reliability and flight performance of logos. While there can be and has minimally been "small" things logos in all honesty are about the least troubles out there. I spent a whack in last year in money and time trying other 90e machines. Was a great learning experience as I enjoy trying everything but at end of day if the Logo 700 ends up being what I've invisioned it should be my end all heli.

Been a busy winter here with an abundance of huge snowfall, haven't flown since last Halloween. Hope everyone's been well!!!

You guys think Dave is trying to stir things up? I hope so.

All I can say is that the owner and founder of Mikado helis (Ralf Buxnowitz), and his wife Inge, along with Mikado's chief designer Mehran Tirooni, and the creator and mastermind behind the V-Bar system (Uli Rohr), along with the owners of Ready Heli (John and Jen Greco), and their company's General Manager (Bryan Barrow), as well as videographer and film maker Marcus Gelhard, including the entire Mikado U.S. Flight Team (Jaime Robertson, Jesse Kavros, and Ben Storick...Kyle too), plus Mikado U.S. Reps Fil Lowe, Rob Scholer and Jacob Gitin (unfortunately Jan Matros from New York can't make it), will all start showing-up at my house the second week in April, and will be "hangin out" for some days.

With a line-up like that, all at the same location, all at the same time, you've got to figure something's up.

Well, if something's up... and assuming that I can post pictures of whatever is up... I'll post 'em here. :)

I too am awaiting the Logo 700. I have a Logo 600 and love it but will sell it after 4 years to move up to the 700. I fly a Henseleit TDR and it has been bulletproof, but would like a true smack 700. I just like to fly 90's. Did it my whole heli career. This allows me to have two heli's that I can use the same packs for. All I need to two sets of packs which I already have. I don't need more. I have a great charger case and Honda. I just want two machines that take same blades and packs and equipment.

Like Shawn, I have looked hard at other heli's. Ballistic looks nice, but Curtis scares me. He drops off the planet and no one knows if he is going to stay in business or not. Total G was a flop, his blades are great and I have some, but he has TONS of great competitors now, his niter accessories can't be flying off shelves. No where to get parts except for his hobby shop and maybe one or two others and his website changes more often than my 10 year old daughter changes her shoes.

Long story short is the Logo 700 if it is what I believe it to be, will be my next heli. I don't care to own 5-6 machines. I have before. Give me two world class 90's. I'm happy.

@ Norman,

Well, I can say this from being in the middle of it. Mikado is not going to sit back and sell the XXtreme 800 for a year and then think about the 700. They're going to come right back at the market with a 700 class machine, just as quickly as they can...which has taken much less time to develop, as they don't have to prototype a power system as well for the model. Power systems for 700 class machines are already well developed and plentiful.

So will we get it this year or is it going to be 2013?

Do you actually expect him to commit to a date? :D

I would love to see the Logo700 released late this year for the winter build season.
