Default Jive high idle auto??

Just thought of this as I did some first autos two days ago; Anyone tried some throttle percentage @TH ? Just to have keep some rpm for practice, maybe 20% if the Jive is capable?
Running PowerJive 120HV and Scorpion 4025 550 with Futaba 8Fg.
(I guess it won't arm at >0% throttle but that can be raised once started up, same procedure winding down when I want to reach the heli)

This is possible, so to say a "cheating-AR". The Vbar governor is doing that also.

JIVE: Provided the ESC has learned the throttle travel 0/100 (no later mods by tweaking) he starts commutation at 12% of throttle and stops at 10.

Thanks !! I guess I will love my Jives even more very soon! Might get a Heli Jive in near future, but with the hazzle of setting that up (?), I could settle for this "cheat" method even on a Heli Jive, don't know how much difference they make.

Not sure the trouble you refer to setting up Bail on HJ.
Same as reg Jive but to enable Bail you hit Throttle Hold after raising slider and confirmation tone.

HJ fully kills motor so If you do stick it through the motor is stopped and not still under power as suggested above.
In a tip over situation it's a big difference

Gentlemen, my Jive arms at 11% but that is still too high rpm, and as stated- in tipping over at landing it's not worth the risk.
Tonight I did some inverted auto practice instead with the 11% throttle.
Thanks to both of you

The ESC arms or starts commutation?

Should arm around zero, +/-3..5%.

Tom, my mistake - not sure about Arming but it starts spinning as low as 11%
Still too high to land with, but fun to play with in the air

OK, that's true, start at exactly 12%, stop at 10.

Too high: Well, this is due to the "uplift" throttle-->PWM, ~50% minimum PWM.

No chance in a governor mode of a "normal" JIVE, better one w/ mode 6 of a H/JIVE, especially w/ option "LRPM".

I'm planning on a Synergy E5 and the Heli Jive, or whatever heli I get next, will be my third Kontronik Esc.
I'm a little disappointed about not being able to even change capacitators on these, just got to know that, can you confirm this?
Many Jives have been thrown as garbage because of this

My mistake, I will lower the % so the blades can spin (enough not to trigger the soft start), but still allows auto practice landings, did not try that today but tommorow for sure!! This way I can land, depending on how low rpm it can get.

There are options, instead of throwing away external caps can be used inline, or the coating can be removed on jive, this had been done by careful clipping and I believe someone did it successfully with heat gun as well, certainly worth a try before the rubbish bin

Or you can send it in and get reduced price on replacement.
Best bet is try to have it in a location/orientation to reduce risk of damage, same applies for all
ESC.
