I just finished my new Protos the other day. The weather has stunk and I have not had a chance to maiden it yet. Mine is setup using the stock motor, Align 75A esc, Dimension Engineering Sport Bec, Futaba S9650 on cyclic, Spartan DS760 gyro & Futaba S9257 on the tail, AR6100, Outrage 6S 25C 2500mah lipos. I should get a chance to fly it this weekend for sure. My finished Protos weighed in at 1570g. That is 290g lighter than my T-Rex 500.

-9650's on cyclic
-spartan/9254 on the tail
-jazz 55-10-32 esc
-scorpion motor
-novak 6v 3a bec
-sab blades

Nice flying heli, the collective response reminds me of my old actro 32-3 powered logo 600 v-bar.
Batteries are much cheaper for the protos !

my fault... is that the Vibe 450 next to your Protos? It looked like the 450 by miniature aircraft at first glance. Either one, they're both sweet

Fresh after a rebuild. The original stock canopy finally gave it up after the last crash. I didn't even find it all. This one isn't a stock canopy but it turned out pretty good. I need some Protos stickers now.

Boy that is one nice looking protos. I got my local sign company to cut me some low tac masking material with the protos logo that is identical to the t. 3 bucks for a negative and a pos. I can get you in touch with them if you like or send you a adobe illustrator file of the logo and you can send it to a local shop if your interested.

Thanks J. So sign shops can handle the lettering? Cool. If you can hook me up with the adobe file I would appreciate it.

Not a problem, You can either email me at JustinMoore12@Hotmail.com or register here if your into painting and download the file from the thread.

Make sure you specify what type of vinyl you want. Whether it paint mask, or regular colored.

Is that a T-Rex 500 canopy?

Yes that's a T-rex500 canopy and T-rex500 landing gear. I had an extra T-rex500 canopy just sitting in a box. Front skid isn't missing, it's just really close to the rear skid.
