Hi guys,
Helicopter newbie here. I bought BNF mCX2 (that was my mistake, I mixed up RTF and BNF). So I had to buy transmitter separately. I bought E-flite LP5DSM transmitter, set DIP switches and bound them. Started to to control testing: the throttle works, the elevator servo works. However, the aileron servo won't move when I move the right transmitter stick from left to right and back. My first though would be - broken servo? BUT when I tried to dig deeper into DIP switched and reverted the aileron DIP switch - the aileron servo moved all the way down! After that I noticed that swash plate is not parallel to the ground but rather shifted all the way down, or, when I switch aileron DIP - all the way up! Please take a look at the video. Also, when I try to climb heli a bit - it would "fall" to one side (depending on the aileron DIP switch position). Please help! Is this fixable or should I return the heli? |

All your dip switches should be down with #8 being up.
When set to that, make sure the trim is centered, it could have been moved and off center.

Correct.....switch 8 must be up and the rest down...now after you've done that, rebind it.

Yeah, I have done all that with DIP switches (if you did not watch the video). Still no luck.
Do you know how can I unbind it so I can rebind it? |

Set switch 1 up and switch 8 up. All others must be in the off position.
Re bind. You will be much happier with this radio than the game controller radio and it will work great with your MCX2. A penuchle will help move the switches. Let us know if you have any other problems. |

Yes, the DIP switches are in correct position. That is the problem. Please take a look at the video - it has both servos and DIP switches.

You don't need to unbind it, rebinding will erase the old bind. Just make sure switch 8 is up and the rest down.
LOOK AT PAGE 8 IN YOUR MANUAL!!! SWITCH 8 UP ONLY!

Thanks for the tip - just did that: set DIP 1 and 8 switches to ON, rebound - still the same problem as on the video

I had the exact same issue with one I bought yesterday and a DX8 (except it was the elevator that would not move). I then tried binding it to the MLP4DSM that came with my 120 SR and it seems to work fine. I will say that it does not work if I try to switch rates, so I just leave it in high rate...

Eventually it was a transmitter.
I bought mSR X RTF with MLP4DSM TX and tried it - mSR X worked fine. Then I bound MLP4DSM TX to the DNF mCX2 and it also worked. To make sure I bound the LP5DSM TX to the mSR X and got the same aileron issue. |
