Outstanding that you have one in that condition!
The blade grips were getting hard to get quite a while back, and they are completely in tact, in the photo!

Wat do u want for the tail box and the piece that holds the wire to it.I haven't got to do much to it lately.I need yo break the engine in.it has never been ran. As far as clutch I think ill do wat u did have one machined the ordinal is there its never been used.wat servos and gyro do u suggest?

I would use the engine that it has as long as its not damaged. Open the case, get some oil in there let it sit for a day or so, get it turning nice. It will probably fire right up. I haven't had any old engines not fire up. As far as servos go I would go with a nice digital. Doesn't need to be super strong or fast for 3D just good quality.

I have the same huey but a reproduction I got about five years ago. Unique Models in Dalton GA sells them. here is a pic of mine when I test flew it last week after converting the mechanics to electric. I also posted a video of the test flight on youtube. |
