ZYX,CX-3X1000 mounting pad

I have a trex 500 with a cx-3x1000 and it flies very stable.
I have it mounted with the original foam that came with my unit, its around 2mm.
beenflyin told me that a good foam pad is the tarot foam which i will buy and try it
this week.

But a friend of mine with a trex 450 tried the spartan quark foam (softer and thicker than original) and his heli flies better than my 500. We can make the cyclic gain up to 54 without any oscilations and we also increased the tail gain more. The 450 now is solid rock.

I made this post so that everyone say what foam pad uses to see which one is the best for these FBL units.

i use the tarot foam too... seems good

I have a Blade 450 FBL with the Copter-X. I use the 3M grey tape.
