Had a minor mishap this weekend. Was practicing my autos and landed pretty hard. Didn't think anything of it and took off again. A few seconds later, I heard a "click click click" sound and knew something was wrong. I tried to turn around to come back to land but as soon as I touched the rudder, it let go. Hit TH, but she made like a dart into the ground!
I have two small hairline cracks right under the bolts for the motor mount. I had previously strengthened this area with small pieces of CF, but that doesn't hold for long (perhaps its the CA I'm using). I would like to install the stiffening kit that goes right around this area, but its not currently in stock. Does anyone have one? They retail for $20, and I'd be more than happy to pay that amount plus shipping. Thanks!

I've been searching all over for the frame stiffener kit. I finally found them, but unfortunately, it'll cost you $11 in shipping.
http://www.flying-hobby.com/shop/x5-...it-p-7174.html I pulled the trigger. Just ordered my x5 today and honestly, paying $11 in shipping isn't going to kill me to have the bird setup just how I want it. -Steve |

Empire Hobby, the U.S. distributor for Gaui shows to have that part in stock.G-208700
Most likely, AlleRC, which I believe is a part of Empire should have it too, but their site seems to be down right now so can't check. http://www.empirerc.com/helicopter-p...3_151_170.html
