Default Flywheel question

I have a raptor 60 with an os70, my flywheel/fan keeps coming loose and binding everything up, do I need loctite on the flywheel nut? Or is there a special way to keep that thing from coming loose?

#1 - you need to use a crankshaft lock when you tighten up the flywheel. I don't tighten more than "extra hand tight". No Channel Lock pliers needed - just a towel wrapped around the fins and the crankshaft locked from the rear.
#2 - Yes, add blue Loctite to the crankshaft threads before you screw on the flywheel and then a little more on the "prop nut" (flywheel nut). Again, make sure you have a crankshaft lock when you tighten up the nut

I have OS 91 & YS 91 and use this technique. I have never had a flywheel come loose - even with a broken rod that stopped the engine from full throttle.
