That is a lot of torque. I think you need one with a bit more speed and not so much torque. I could be wrong.

This is what Align throws on the 500. From what I understand what Align puts on it's super combos is a good starting place.

DS510
●Stall torque: 3.7kg.cm (51.38 oz. in.) @ 4.8V
4.6kg.cm (63.88 oz. in) @ 6.0V
●Motion speed: 0.13sec/60° @ 4.8V
0.11sec/60° @ 6.0V

I have built 4 Gauis and bought used or ones pulled from TX kits, Spektrum DS821's for all of them right here on the Freak!
Good enough speed wise and BULLET PROOF!
Use Hyperion DS20 GMD's on the tail....GY401, GY520.

If you want something cheaper you could consider this one.
Its a new servo, made by Henge. Being cheap and new it is a bit of a gamble if they last over time, but if the gear-train is anything like the faster one i have here on the bench it should be a great budget servo for the swash. It is one size smaller than standard servos, so you need the adapter plates that come in the hurricane kit.

I have both my hurries fully equipped and flying well, otherwise i would have taken the plunge and make a review on them.

I second the 821's on cyclic. These have worked great and are low cost, even new. I'm using an Align 620 on the tail with an align 750 gyro. Low budget but works for my flying skill.

I went the same road, first Blade400 and afterwads came a (used) Hurricane550 from a fellow helifreak member

and I can assure you that the grin on your face after the first hover will last for one whole day
