The Belgian Aero modelers League invited us to their main annual meeting, to celebrate our world record, and we also showed the public a PowerPoint presentation about that record. We did the same thing two weeks ago at the meeting of the Flemish League, and will do the same thing again in a week for the Wallonian League (our small country is divided in 2 districts, the Flemish and the Wallonian part).

You should also know that Will James was kind enough to give us some free HeliFreak swag, as a reward for the record, which we dedicated to HeliFreak. We received some hoodies, HeliFreak stickers and other stuff. To show our gratitude, we are wearing these hoodies at each event we visit, like today, in front of the Belgian public.

Lol Jerry. Been spending a lot of time lately renovating my house, and some other things not heli related, I know. Will be better next summer, I hope.

These presentations only involve the Belgian modelers leagues, so it is still before a somewhat “limited” audience. But imagine that we were very surprised to get the news yesterday that the Belgian Aero club wanted to see us also in March at their annual meeting. This is the organization that is responsible for all air sports, mainly full-size planes, gliders and helis, in other words, but also RC stuff (you know, these grown up boys that still play with toys, lol). For example, it is this organization that recognized our record as a national record last year, and forwarded the whole dossier to the FAI. It’s the highest authority in our small country concerning all air sports. We were of course very pleased to receive such a request, and never expected this.

Only if you design a stealth APV drone with sufficient endurance to hover over her castle long enough to take some compromising videos of the said princes. Then it's a win-win situation because you can either blackmail her into becoming your mistress or, if she resists the logical arguments, just sell the video to the tabloids and become rich

We were invited to the annual meeting of the National Aero Club of our country yesterday, where they handed us the original FAI certificates for the world record. Thought I would post a picture of it, it makes a nice final post to this thread. The FAI is located in Switzerland, so the certificate is in French.

After that, we talked with some of the Belgian officals, and a few of them were pushing us to try another kind of RC heli-related world record, and we found some of them to be rather realistic in fact. So perhaps, in a not so distant future, "we'll be back", lol. You never know. CU all, and thx a lot again for the support.
