Thanks Chas! I run a facebook page called UtahExtreme3D and we post most of our flying pictures and videos of myself and some friends flying up there for people to see. Ill get some more flying videos up here when I get a little more comfortable smacking this bird around.

not my video, or my flying, but thought it was entertaining, and it has a 700 DFC in it.

its about a chinese "expert" sling shotter and a 3D pilot.
the sling shotter says there is nothing he cant hit and the 3d pilot says there is no way the sling shotter can hit his 700 DFC.

so they have a show down.
have a look. entertaining if your bored!

my 3rd test flight withTrex 700 DFC
specs version 1.31 on CGY750/ ICE 120HV/ Futaba BLS255HV, Voltz Batteries.
I used stock settings, redid the initial set up again and used 3D settings in the rudder menu. as most know the tail is pretty quick in 3D so one small adjustment in rudder expert menu changed the rotation rate to 600 rev/sec. and adjusted my pitch curve in the radio to read +12, +5, 0, -5, -12 this allowed for a better center feel in the collectives.
hope you enjoy the video. I truly love the CGY750. it is top notch.

What headspeed you running, and are you using the Castle Gov or the GGY?

Hi HFMan,
thanks, I was using the Castle Gov for now and it seems to be performing quite well, I may dabble with the CGY Gov in the near future, but not right now. my HS is set at 2200 with a pitch curve of +12 +5 0 -5 -12. I'm very pleased with its performance.

Great vid, regarding your pitch curve, does the small flat part mid stick make much difference?

thanks midnightx1,
yes the the flat spot is center stick and is required to fly the heli from upright to inverted and the other way around. it is a transition point from positive pitch to negative. this is assuming you have a 5 point pitch curve, there are some model radios out there that only offer 3 points, so the curve would look like +12 , 0 , -12

Do you notice any increase in bogging as a result of having a steeper pitch curve towards the endpoints?

midnightx1, I have not noticed any additional bogging, but you will feel a more noticeable pop in the collectives and still maintain a soft feel for accurate hovering or close ground maneuvers.
