New metal tail pitch assembly on a belted tail?

Anyone running this?

I figured it would work, so I bought the ESP version of the assembly to go on my 500e:

I already have the metal belted tail case, however, when I started to put them together the holes where the radial bearings go on either side of the tail case and assembly don't line up so obviously the tail shaft won't go in.

Has anyone been able to do it?

That's strange. That's supposed to be the one for the older esp tail box. Can you get a picture? Are you positive they didn't send you the pro version? Maybe it only works with the older TT tail box?

It does say "ESP" which was/is TT.

I'll double check the version they sent. I, mistakenly, believed that the bearing position in the metal tail case would be the same between the TT and belt.
