I just finished the perfect week. Off on vacation out of town with a great open area in front of the resort and the Southern Rotary Classic this weekend. Got a lot of air time this week on the 550s without a single issue. Love these helis.

Some of the pro pilots on hand at SRC, JC Zankl, Ben Storick, Jamie Robertson, Matt Nasca, Wilson Miller, Mitch Pricer, Tyler Benson and Curtis Youngblood. Jamie, Ben and Wilson can really throw around a heli, day or night.

These are some pictures that Joe Doran posted. I was stupid and left my camera back at the house.

This is early Friday morning. Mine is the third blue canopy from the left. We had canopies stacked two and three deep along the flight line by Saturday morning.

Curtis flying the new Rave 635. Turns out this has a prototype V2 TotalG installed.

JC Jankl flying the new Gaui NX4.

Dean Guitars donated this to the funfly. There was a guitar smackdown Saturday night during the nightfly. Best 4 minute performance with the guitar as judged by the spectators went home with it. I came home with a new PL8 charger that I won in the pilots raffle.

I hope the rain clears up so I can get one last flight in before the end of the world tomorrow.

I herd they dont allow RC Helicopters in Heaven, and they always crash on takeoff in hell.

Took a couple of flights today too cold.

I almost sold the 550 l, but I talked the guy into buying a Fusion. If I was a salesman I would starve to death.

I almost sold it again, but I still have it.This time I decided to keep it until its expiration date. I will fly it this spring, cant wait for the weather to calm down.

I got a short flight in a few minutes ago- boy this thing flies good!

I have never thought about selling mine. Just bought another used 550. Between used 550s and the parts I have purchased from HD I should be flying them for a very long time.

I am spicing it up a bit.. SK540 FBL and RJX servos... much stronger and more precise. Should be a great 2013 beater!

Just thought I would stop in and say I still love my 550 Overall, probably still my favorite. Flys great, easy to change batteries, super solid design. Glad I have a ton of spare parts to keep it going for a while.
