Sure mate, here they are.
Btw the collar must be set at 22.70mm, measured from top of the shaft to bottom of the collar. Anyway I would check 0 pitch again after this little mod. |

What's the key to making the top cut outs on the shaft perfect? Would getting it wrong make the head sit off centre? I made a shaft but can't tell if its the shaft or the head, I'm suspecting my head is crooked.

For example if the cuts need to be 7mm long you just mount it on the shaft 7mm from the top of the shaft. Filing down the flat spots is just a case of filing and measuring all the time, nothing complicated. Btw 7mm is just an example, donīt start filing already |

Time for Jim Stoll to make one of his main shaft jig for the nano. The mCPX version has the part that helps you file down the flat end. Anybody contacted Jim Stoll yet?

Hey Guys - coming off another crazy work period (coinciding with the end of the semester, and the beginning of our winter holiday :-), so trying to catch back up on things. Just saw a PM from Matijin from earlier this month. I'm definitely up for making a jig for the nano, if it looks like something that could be useful.
Can someone send me dimensions on the shaft, including length, diameter, measurements on any features on the shaft (position, length and depth of flat spots, diameter and placement of holes, if any). I'm going to be away for a week or two over the holiday, which is bad in terms of getting anything built, but good in terms of having time to think through a design, so if someone can send me specs, I'll see what I can do. Thanks!! Jim

Anyone else notice that the rear servo link is not 25mm? The servo is mounted a couple of mm above the other 2, to get it to 25mm you would have to back it out several turns and your swash would be way off. I adjusted the side links to 25mm and set the rear by getting 0 pitch at mid stick.

Shot in the dark here, but just got a Blade Nano CPX yesterday...I see the settings in the manual, but wanted to see if someone had exact settings for a Futaba 9CHP w/ DM8 module.
Thanks! Frank

Here's 2 how-to videos I made to get the KBDD mCP X skids to fit our nCP Xs -
">This video shows how to cut them down and install them to the main frame: This is a follow-up video, as I had problems using foam cut to size to secure the battery. The 2nd video is a nice and sweet solution to fix that: |

Hi, Just got the Blade nano CP X. It is my first heli. Flying it with a DX8.
Is there a correct way to install the battery on the nana CP X? They don't really show how the battery is to be installed in the english manual. Battery keys up or down? All the way in or just part way into the holder? All the way in seems to make the heli front heavy??? anyway, Thanks. |
