Default OK Go, shot with mutlirotor.

The band OK Go, recently shot their video for "I Won't Let You Down" , from the album Hungry Ghosts with a multirotor.

Its worth a watch for sure. Really great imagination. The multirotor even get's it own part at the end.

Enjoy!

From the linked article, " The grand finale was stitched together from 44 separate takes (using 2,328 people)"

Wow, that is very cool. The song didn't do much for me, but the video is really impressive.

Huh, lots of articles saying it was a single shot, after 50-60 attempts.

That's how OK Go makes their name. I feel the same exact way.
Their music is "mediocre" at best, but their videos are amazingly creative.

did anyone notice it wasn't very stable during it? It's not a big deal but during the "still" shots when it was hovering above I noticed some drifting. I guess it can't be perfect but I just noticed it.

I noticed that as well. However it came out to me like a creative decision. Like certain tv shows that have hand held cameras for effect.
Also because if you notice, the video also has a slight time lapse effect as well.

yeah I saw that too. For example at the end when its going up, the car drives by on the road on the left and its going much faster than it would be in real life.

Yup. Maybe they needed to speed up the ascent into the clouds?

And/or you can't get people to coordinate opening/closing umbrellas that quickly.
