Default Warp prototype videos, info, and couple photos

10th flight on my Warp prototype! Still playing with Beast settings, etc. I'm running around 2100 HS in Idle 1 and 3000 in Idle 2. Low rpm is incredibly quiet and pulls around well with smooth 3D, but I prefer a bit more.

For the 2nd vid, I upped the Idle 2 a bit for 3100+ rpm and flew slightly harder. This flying will last 4:15 on a 1300mAh pack

What's in it....
Compass 1300kv brushless
Compass 350mm blades / KBDD tails
YGE 40A LV ESC
Microbeast Beast X FBL unit
Airtronics rx
MKS DS95 cyclic servos
MKS DS8910A+ tail servo
Chrome 1300mAh 6s 45C LiPo batteries

Ready to fly mine weighs 910g (2 lb) without 30g canopy.

Some pics...
(Don't presume what you see is exactly as the kits will be. There has already been minor changes.)

Looks like a mini 7Hv V2 tail setup.
I was on the fence with the 450 still but think I'm sold on it for sure now.
October is here so lets see some canopy pics soon.

It is! So fast and simple to assemble tail and boom. There are boom slots and clamp nubs to perfectly align boom as well.

Well, didn't measure yet except by hand, which doesn't feel to bad in this 70°F climate.. so maybe 160°F?

Just saw something on the tail assembly that doesn't sounds right:
The central wall on the H part shows the threads from the bolt. Is the material a bit to thin in that area?
It may even not be a problem at all, but seems the thread will be a bit weak there.
Or am i being too picky?
I'm just looking for the perfect heli and waiting the day the UPS brings a nice compass box to my door

Nope, all is well and as designed on the tail. It is a simple and functional design. Pop the belt on, push belt through boom, and slide the aluminum into the boom aligning the 4 pre-drilled holes. Screws are plenty strong in those threaded holes.

Awesome flights Caleb. You really let the machine shine
The tail box H design looks really cool and easy to maintain. Do you have any close up pics of the head mechanics? Watching your flights makes me want the warp even worse.

OK Caleb!!
Thanks for the feedback.
Seems a very reliable design. I'm so tired of the align tail design.
The warp in the other hand seems very beefy, and having 500 size mechanics, doesn't need complicated dual support pitch slider designs to deliver a slopyless tail

Thank you, Caleb! Excellent vids and pics! I am sure we all needed that.
Is the cube shape battery gonna work best? I've seen some long, skinny packs on various websites but wasn't sure what would CG best. I'm thinking, based on your pack placement, the cube shape is going to work better. Doubt the canopy will make up much difference.

You could be right, i don't know. It is a decent size canopy, but I have not tried one on. Sebastian has been flying with one, and I think long packs, although I'm not sure the capacity. This heli could take a bit larger than 1300mAh 6s packs and still feel good in the air.

Very, very cool, Caleb! I'm really liking the way everything seems so compact, yet out in the open!

Thanks for sharing!
