So...Just wrecked my 500x for the first time so I figured Id upgrade some of the essentials to aluminum seeing as I need to replace em anyway... I need to replace the blades, blade grips, tail grips, boom, main gear, and tail boom support... Im probably gonna throw on an aluminum tail case too...

Anyway. found all the replacement parts I want with the exception of the aluminum tail grips...none on ebay, amazon, or any other site Ive checked for that matter. Seems everyone is either out or backordered

Anyone have any ideas who is hording the BLH1870A aluminum tail rotor grips??? I need a set and don't know where else to look.

I had the same problem.... although, if your a US resident, you might be able to get them through hopmeup...... or this is what I did.

Thanks man... I will definitely consider the Align grips...talked to HH a little earlier... supposedly the blade aluminum tail grips will be in stock on july 8th... I hate waiting for anything though...im so impatient

I was visiting my brother in San Diego last weekend, we went into Discount Hobby Warehouse on Clairemont Mesa Blvd and they had a couple sets. GIve them a call, see if they'll ship?

Tropicaltrail... those are the main rotor grips... I need the aluminum tail grips... different part and number...there are no aluminum tail grips on ebay

This is one of their ads but they have an internet store as well. I have bought from them in the past (MCPX). Go to their website. They may still have some there.

My LHS got metal tail and main grips in today, looks like aluminum is back on the menu boys!

I know finally got the tail grips ordered I was a little scared to fly my new 500x without them after hearing the in flight tail explosion stories.
