so the SN555 should run off 12v (3S lipo?)

...any chance it might work off 2S lipo, coz I have several spare! Anyone tried that yet?

No, that class requires 12V give or take 2V. It might run briefly on a very full 2S LiPo but that's not safe flying.

i wired up my cam, tc, rx etc.

just need a 3s lipo!

The camera quality looks good.

also have an archos mpeg4 video recorder (uses 40gig HD)


this is all going on my trex 600 with DJI auto pilot ... should be fun!

Yeah better to use a 3S plus doesn't your video TX need 12v? Anytime my battery gets below 10v I start losing video range and the picture gets grainier. Good luck

hi
I just received a 3S,
but my tx is 5-12v I think

Camera is about 12V

incidently, I did hook up a 2S to test the Tx the other day, and the SN555 camera did work on 2S. I can't say how well since I was testing the Tx and new my 3S was in the post and wasn't an issue
