Default What I think may be the hot set up for good flight time also

I think the scorpion 2520-1580kv motor with msh long shaft installed and run it on 1800mah 5 series lipos. The thunderpower 1800 5s 70c lipo would be ideal size and weight at around 234 grams. Only about 24 grams heavier than their 6s 1300mah 70c.
Depending on your esc a 15 or 16 tooth pinion gets you 3200/3300 governed!

If you already have a 2520-1360kv then a 17 or 18 tooth on the 5s lipos.
I just may have to give this a go!!! I already have the 1360 kv . Someone else want to try it also??

I'm more interested in a 2520-1880kv setup, using 4s 2200 lipos.
4S 2200 are much more common than 5s 1800 and have approximately the same capacity.

It would give me more power than my current stock setup, but keeping decent flight times thanks to greatly increased lipo capacity.

I'm not sure if there are any 4S 2200 batteries that fit under the stock canopy though.

I'm currently using pulse 2250's under the stock canopy without a problem.

5s 1800 40C zippy flightmax (250g) fit as well, and I managed to get a good CG, I had to leave the stock length tail rod to get it though.
I'm flying the 2520-1360 on these with a 15t, and man at 2800rpm (governed by SK540 with 360mm blades) it already has plenty of power, I'm really liking the feel I get out of it.
The motor is unboggable so you can do tic tocs very easily even at lower rpms.

Not sure about the flight times yet, as I've only done 2 flights on it for 4min to be safe, but I expect 5-6min.
