Question Which is the best simulator??????????

Hi Guys

Can anyone tell me the best simulator, I知 ok with FP but CP I知 having a nightmare. I can thrash around ok with 120SR and MSR but the with SR and MCPX I知 only confident in the hover, the little MCPX gets away pretty quick.

They have a Real Flight set up at my LHS,tried that, wasnt all that enthused about it. Most everybody I talked to, said get a Phoenix. I did, and it helps alot, comes with the cable to interface with your TX, and constantly updates with new fixed and rotary wing models! For 125 dollars you cant beat it for a confidence builder......Greg

I have Phoenix and like it real well. I've never used Real Flight so I can't compare the two.

+1 on Pheonix

the trees are like cardboard cutouts, but the variety of flying sites, models, constant updates and the ability to go online and fly with friends really were the big selling points for me.

Another vote for Phoenix!

I tried FMS which is actually impressive for being free and is great for teaching orientation in different directions (especially for fixed wing) but is no good for getting a real feel for a heli, especially a CP heli.

HeliSimRC is also free and really quite good with the physics for your standard 450 size cp heli but still not quite there (again impressive especially for the price)

Phoenix was worth the price of admission and I don't feel I need to try out any other sims at this point.

I got Phoenix and for a while didn't even care if I flew the real helis or not. I was so happy flying the Aurora Ultimate 90 Nitro on there and I know its gonna be a while before I ever fly a real one. Phoenix definitely rocks and now its even better with the latest updates. I noticed yesterday there are more updates available that I haven't taken the time to install yet.

"Someone else said about Realflight though if he stuck a small jar of nitro fuel on his computer desk where he could smell it, he'd just leave his real 700 Nitro parked. LOl!
I haven't got familiar with it much.

I like using on Phoenix, the TX I fly with too, that way I'm not learning habits on sim TX that conflict with my real TX.

This is a beautiful flight of a Trex 700N on Phoenix. Its also one of my favorite flying fields. Notice he hits Throttle Hold at the end and autos it in. This vid sold me on Phoenix. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x4oylSiv_Go[/ame]

Right at 2min 21 seconds this vid shows my favorite Heli- The Aurora Ultimate 90 Nitro.

Heres a cool vid of a guy practicing autos on a Trex 700N and tipping over.
