I have just bought a couple of the above batteries for my Trex 500, only having used Align before.

Can I charge these at 1c without duration issues? The Align packs come with a bit of paper that suggests not charging above 0.5c if you want the batteries to have a better lifetime. That makes for a long charge time.

Anything else I need to consider to get the best out of these "wee red beasties" before I "plug in and go"?

Yes, charge the outrage packs at 1C
