Yeah it was fun. Couldnt believe how long it took to do the setup. The time seemed to fly by. LOL But it was great to be able to finally fly my heli. I am looking forward to burning lots of battery packs through it.

3 packs this morning, mostly just messing around with flips, rolls, loops and tictocs. On the 3rd pack I did a slow inverted piro and couple of slow (but sloppy) inverted backwards circuits

The ThunderPower Carbons. They are awesome. I can thank Grant for that recommendation.

My old white canopy has been given the treatment by my son, and it now looks like it is designed for use as arctic camouflage. So I can see the heli even less than before!! This red one is great for visibility, and I have got some high vis KBDD tail rotor blades coming too.

Looks to be a cracker Mike. Great job.

Gerd, sorry about that, but I think you'll love it (mCX). I have virtually been flying mine non stop. I'm sure I'll wear it out. I have put some high capacity, 2500 mAh, AA rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride batteries in the charger, as I used up the batteries that came with it in the first half a day. Hopefully that should save me some money. You can get those from Tesco quite cheap, complete with a little charger.

Even though it is easy to fly, I have still managed to crash it a few times, and I haven't managed to damage it yet. I just throttle off and let it hit the deck. As was mentioned earlier it is so light it just seems to survive the impact undamaged.

Had first flight of the Mcx about an hour ago, in fact the first thing I did when I got to the apartment here in Kuwait before coming to work!! Can't believe just how stable it is, trimmed it up and it just sits there. Awesome fun, just wish I could have got some more batteries but they didn't have any!

Are they better than the Align Carbon ones, as I get the Align ones for around £23 at the moment.

Erm, they are a little diferent. They are longer with a slimmer aerofoil and they fly really nice. They fly similar, maybe a little better than the aligns. I fly the aligns as it works out far cheaper for me

Have not tried the Align Carbons Gerd. But these TPs are just terrific.
