600SX Upgraded Frames
Hi,
I just finished upgrading my 600SX to the new frames. It seems we no longer install the front canopy stand-offs. Can anyone confirm this? My canopy seems secure enough without them, but I wanted to be sure. Thanks R.J. |

Same here as they do not show them in the directions.
Any clue what all of the extra holes toward the rear of the frames are for?

I got a reply from Mikado on their forum. This is what they said:
Hi, you will want to install the upper standoffs (use only the two longer bushings and a M3x20 mm screw on each side). With the 600 SX upgrade, there was a snag in the first few copies of the upgrade manual, sorry for that. Kind regards Eddi Born to fly ... forced to work. |

So, is the online manual updated with standoff instructions?

@ Dsss,
Your question, "Any clue what all of the extra holes toward the rear of the frames are for?" They are for accommodating things to come in the future. (-: Dave Dahl |

Ah, so I should not use them for mounting things to and wires through because I am about to buy something in the future. Got it. Thanks for the heads up. I suspect I know what it is...

So it sounds like mikado is going to create a Goblin like tail boom and a fuselage type canopy.

This is personal preference but I have never used the front upper standoffs on my Logo 600s. Well, I lie, I used them once and all they seemed to do was poke holes in my canopy upon hitting the ground I use rear upper and front lower only.
