Default Wipe Out

Took the SR out to the field today and it didnt end very well. Spent the first batt. just hovering and trimming the heli out. Dropped in the second batt. and started doing some stall turns. After about 1.5 minutes, at the peak of one of the turns, it just shut down and dropped out of the sky like a lawn dart. No warning, no power fade, it just blacked out. Anyone have any ideas here? Im at a loss and more than a little frustrated, as 3 out of my 5 crashes with this thing can be attributed to equipment malfunction. Im about ready to move on to a more reliable heli or just quit, as it seems I am throwing money in the wind.

look at your swash plate and see if it separated that can make you come down with force when it separates in flight. they all should be glued together but i guess they are too cheep to drop a few dabs of glue in there so this no longer happens.

go and have your battery tested at the local hobby shop to make sure it does not have any dead cells.

you sure the second one was fully charged? I forgot to to swap batteries once when I got to talking to an onlooker. Even if I charged both of mine earlier in the day I put them back on the charger right before I fly to be sure. Come to think of it I did that with my mSR once too.

Any landing you can taxi back from is a good landing!

I did that once but fortunately I was spooling up and had not lifted off yet when I figured it out. I went home and used a sharpie to clearly number my packs and always fly them in numerical order to avoid any mistakes.
