Before it released its magic smoke. It took out a new 45c battery as well. Unamused. I guess they will give me another if I call and complain?

Yes.. have sales slip ready in case they want to see it for warranty.

They'll usually replace the parts that were damaged, too. Or so I've heard.

I've never had a problem with mine, but this isn't the first time I've heard of a problem with the factory BL, either...

im wondering if I should push my luck and try to get the 45c bat replaced as well. Normally I feel that this hobby is "at your own risk" but there was definately something wrong with this thing.

Also I have 9 eflite/blade models and never used any of the supposedly legendary customer service so I don't feel too bad.

2 min phone call, guys says a new speed control will go out today. I bought it from an unautorized amazon vendor I think, no problem.

I didnt push my luck on the battery though.

Batteries cost like $7, if that... not a big loss. Glad you're getting the board replaced.
