Default Damn ESC

has anyone had problems with the Gaui 75A ESC? i was hoping to get the maiden hover in tonight and when i hooked up the ESC to the battery i got the spark at the deans which all of my helis do, but no motor beeps, the motor is fine, i tested it with my B400 ESC. Im also running a seperate receiver pack so i had the positive wire clipped in the ESC receiver plug, so i thought that for some reason you had to use the BEC on the ESC, so i unhooked my receiver pack, reconnected the BEC wire on the ESC, plug it in, and NOTHING i get the spark at the deans when i plug it in, so i know its trying to get power, but no voltage to the receiver.
this is really irritating

any ideas?

ok...receiver pack needs to be plugged in via voltage regulator straight into the receiver.esc needs to be plugged into the receiver with no disconnected wires,as it has no internal bec and initializes from the receiver pack.once receiver is live...ie power to servos gyro etc then plug main packs in

went very well, i didn't crash!! lol, boy, going from the B400 to this thing is amazing, i spooled it up pretty slow, checking controls and gyro, then continued spooling, and its hard to explain, but it just lifted off the ground so nicely, no drift, just like heaven, i just pretty much hovered it at eye level and did some SLOW flight which was pretty hard to do with the B400, it just hovered, or did FFF, this thing is so SMOOOOOOOOOOTH i love it!!!!!

i need to do some gyro fine tuning, but overall im super happy, oh and one more thing, now i want to get a big nitro bird after seeing how easy this thing is to fly.....

thanks, i will get some hi-res pics of the bird in flight sometime this week, (friends a professional photographer)

i think that im going out to run a full pack through it in a bit, i still cant get over how stable it hovers, you could probably fly it with one hand, lol, from seeing how this behaves i think that nose in will be much easier with this, the B400 is too squirrelly, ive almost dumped it a few times practicing nose in, i dont think i will sell the B400, its a good warm up bird
