Well I had to get one, just went ahead and bought that 4 3b. Here's a video of me messing around this morning... flew it right out of the box.

Walkera 4 3b (3 min 36 sec)

Awesome vid 91talonawd! I especially like the part (2:55) where your videographer (wife?, GF?, sister?, mistress?) described how you "screamed like a little girl"

Default Walkera 4G3 first flight, CRASH!!!

Hi everyone,

Received a Walkera 4G3 and on my first takeoff I crashed it. It wasn't the helicopters fault, it was mine. I didn't want to scratch the glass on my coffee table and flew it off of a plastic table that has raised edges. Unfortunately, the tail skid caught the edge of the table as it was lifting off and it tipped over and fell down. The main rotor and tail blades took a major hit when they hit the ground. Luckily, the kit came with an extra set of main rotor blades, but no tail blades. I guess I have to wait a week or two a tail rotor.

By the way, if anyone owns a 4G3 and replaced the tail rotor, how is it done? I can't take off the broken tail rotor from the pin. Any ideas? Do I have to replace the tail gear and pin to replace the tail rotor?

Thanks,

GP

That sucks big time. Anyone else get one of these Yet I preordered one from wowhobbies but have not heard anything yet. As long as it flys as well as the 4#3b I will be happy

Yes it does. I figured out how to take off the tail rotor, but now I have to wait a while before I receive replacement parts. I wish someone in the US had parts for this thing, hate waiting. By the way, I got mine from hobby-wing and they were fast in shipping the 4G3.

The main rotor blades are different than the 4#3B, but it's hard to tell if the tail rotor blade is the same. The only thing for sure is that the color is different.

Almost all of the heli is different. Servos are same as the original 4#3, not the improved 4#3A/B servos.

Here is the link for 4G3 parts in USA. www.wowhobbies.com I got my parts in 2 days and the total price shipped was cheaper than hobby-wing's. I crashed mine a few times, I think it's time to get a second one so I have zero down time. Anyone knows when wowhobbies is going to ship the 4G3?

I wrote and asked them this was their reply "The latest delivery information is posted on the item description." Not too helpful
