Default Main Spur Gear V2 catching on Auto gear

Hi Gents,

So I managed to strip a single tooth on my stock main gear and bought a replacement pack of 2.

I was a bit surprised at the new set I received. It looks rather flimsy and seems to be 1mm taller that the stock set.

Anyway, after fitting the one-way hub, I putting the auto gear on, I noticed that the hex heads on once-way kept catching on the spokes of the auto gear. I tried the spare set its the same thing.

It seems like these new version 2 main gears, haven't been moulded according to the correct specs or they've change the hex bolts used with the one-way.

Have any of you had this problem?

Default too bad

Where did you get the spare from? that's bad cos the stock main gear itself has this issue, it almost brushes with the 4 socket screws which hold the autorotation pulley to the main gear. Anything taller will obviously be a tighter fit.

You could probably try raptor's main gear - it must be compatible?
Good luck

Hi

I managed to sort it by tightening down the bolts until they scored the gear. This gives just enough clearance to prevent the auto catching on the heads.

The raptor 96T gear will fit the 50XCE. I've actually used my spare ElyQ gears on my raptor.
