Good Times a head!

Hi everyone!
The ball is rolling on getting this event planned. I'm telling you now, this one is going to be BIG! I'll be posting sponsors as we get them signed on so that you can see the involvement from the companies that we all love give back to the helicopter community.

We will also have many pro pilots. Last year we had Bert Kammerer, Bobby Watts, Pete Campbell, and Art Hughes. This year....well, for now it's going to be a surprise, but I know we'll get a return of Bert, Bobby, Pete and Art. But who else????? Like I said...going to be big. I'll update a list of pro pilots attending as I get them confirmed.

We are going to have fun, lots of flying, good food, lots of car and truck racing on the down time, and even some boat racing over the course of two days. And that's just the two official days of the event - Saturday and Sunday. You can come earlier if you wish and enjoy all of what SundancersRC Club has to offer.

Spectators LOVE scale helicopters! We want every 3D and scale helicopter in the State of Florida to attend, lol.

If we can get enough scale helis we will add a scale competition next year. Last year we had a few but I would like to see more. We have huge flight stations so you don't have to worry about a 3d machine next to you chopping your scale ship into pieces. In addition we have a whole separate field off to the side for hovering, scale and multi rotors!

This year we thought it would be cool to do glow in the dark wristbands for the pilots that register. Looks awesome for the night flights!

Yep, flying weather has been great last couple weekends! I took off the Friday before, to get some extra flying in. The guys at 01010010 01000011 01001000 01001110 gave the event a nice mention on their show this week, although there was some ball-busting too LOL.

Apparently not! Seems awfully petty to me, but when I typed their 4-letter acronym, the website replaced it with something like "(***Stop Spamming!***) But I have heard others joke about putting their name in binary so I just did that.

All seems pretty silly to me. I don't know if its related but when I put Citizen #12 in my signature, the word "Citizen" gets deleted! So I had to spell it with a "+"?!

Oh well, its because of goofy stuff like this, that I mainly use facebook now, and hardly get on here any more.

Matt,

Bring your heli and fly a little! It's all about just having fun. Nobody cares if your a beginner or a pro. It's actually cool to see people of all skill levels just having fun and flying. Even if it's just practicing a tail-in hover

last year, I spent about 12 flights helping buddy box a friend. He made his first ever heli flight AND his first ever solo flight at the PSL Smackdown! We had a blast. So don't feel like you have to be a pro to get out and fly !
