Default Scratch building a new fuse R-44

Hi Guy's

Here a is a video of my E-benzine that was modified for my next Scratch bulid fuse. It was important for me to test fly it because I wanted to see if the FBL unit would be ok with that type of shaft.

It is going to be at a scale of 1:5

I will give a bit more detail of the fuse in the next couple of post

I add a bit of time on my hands this week so I glass the boom, two layer of eglass and two layers of resin to fill the weave.

So far, that looks like a great project. If you can give a thought to calculating the overall finished weight from previous experience, this would be the perfect time to add some weight to the chassis and see what the characteristics will be with that weight. You may need to add some stabilizers as far up the mast as the final body will allow or add a frame stiffener to spread the fore-aft load of the mast over a larger portion of the frame. It certainly will be a very unique model once done. Take care.

I am glad to see it is still being worked on.
Other things of more importance must be taken care of first.
My modeling has taken a back seat to major home issues, will be getting back to the helis soon though.
Good luck with your project.
HW.
