What a stand up company. I sent my PL8 in to be repaired, which was one month outside of warranty. They still agreed to cover it anyway. I opened the box yesterday to see if my repaired unit was now working properly, but it wasn't my old unit. They sent me a brand new PL8! This how a company should represent themselves when they are selling the best. Thank you Revolectrix. I will continue to buy their products and so far they haven't disappointed me.

Wow! That's amazing! Its hard to shell out big bucks for a potential paper weight but stuff like this helps.

According to the calculator the PL 8 will crank out 24.3 Amps charging 6S on a 12V power supply.
That's pretty impressive. What I really like though is that it will do its full 40 Amps on 6 and 7S with a 24V power supply and only drops to 36.4 Amps for 8S.

I want the PL 8 over the PL 6 because I might get some 7S packs for my Trex 550 one day.
That gives it a power boost while still sticking to one pack which Is why I went with a 550 for a larger heli.

Had mine now for over a year. Charging at home and the field, the PL8 works great.
