Here is my stock 425 and plastic canopy. Learning to use an airbrush is almost as fun as figuring out a piro-flip...

Greetings.
I from Russia. I do not know English language, I translate from the computer, therefore do not take offence for that as I write. J Here mine 425 helicopter. I have altered accumulator fastening under one 6S. It turns out to establish Turnigy 2650mAh 6S 40C Do not prompt what better turns of the main rotor to put? |

as I wrote, that is a piece I mounted there to help having the frame stiffener (and avoid flexing). I read that solution some time ago and someone wrote it helps with frame flexing and stripping the gears ... I hope it will really help ! |

But no... I'm not a 3d'er Anyway one of my friends had a lot of problems with 61T stripping in normal fast forwards flights. Then, looking for infos, I found someone here on this forum having the same trouble... Then I found this solution reading helifreak and .. yes, I just did it This is the thread I refer to ==> https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?p=816648 |

With the motor mounted on the frame, you can hold the motor, then grab the frame at the top where the main shaft is and give the frame a twist. You will see that the frame flexes very slightly. It don't flex much, but is enough to cause the gears to not mesh properly, and sometimes cause gear stripping.
I added an aluminum plate to mine when I built it, based on Marco's "stiffy" and it does not flex at all. Never stripped a gear in it yet either. Sorry for the crappy photos.

Oh, you attached the bottom to the motor mount. looks nice.
I can not really see how big the one coderzone77 has, but all you need is just something across the top right. doesn't really need to go all way down to the motor mount? I do not have a motor yet so cant do the test you said to see it moving, if i just grab the frame and head it doesn't move at all seems super stiff to me but under flight conditions understand how it could change.
