honestly from the emails I've sent, I don't think the language barrier is the problem, i think the guy just doesn't give a crap, he shows up on each forum, makes a post or two showing his video and never returns. ARe you kidding me? This thing could be the best thing in the world, just put in a way to bail out. How hard is it, have the thing memorize the position that it has when it takes off, its not magic, and it should be feasible, then who gives a crap what the acro mode does as long as the heli levels itself.

From what I've hear and experienced, every one wants the 900 to fly like a normal heli...with a bail out feature. So if you loose orientation and/or cannot right yourself...acro mode will save your bacon. currently the 900 does too much in acro mode and the language barrier makes it hard to convey what we want.

I think the best way for it to memorize a position would be to fly in a , from an acro mode, level hover and flip into standard. Upon flipping back in to acro, your leveled position would reset back to where it was when you initially changed modes. this would eliminate the problems associated with take offs on non level ground setting an iaccurate level point..

I think you are missing the point, the problem is that whenever you switch modes it takes it level position at that time, unlike other systems that level once when the power is applied.

currently, you are correct, and granted...I'm not an expert on the tech matter, but hopefully new firm ware care remember prior level settings. The limits of soft tech seems endless, but i doubt that is the case. However if the current hardware has any memory capability, which it must in the 900 to refer back to the prior 30seconds...per my experience,,, why not store the level points while i mess around in normal mode and if i get into trouble,...flip a switch and quickly level out.

helll that's what we all want and its is so do able with the current tech...so lets just do it and put this puppy to bed.

translation: this is want I wat...make it happen. if you think its unwise...I'm crashing my own heli so why do you care. give me what I want and I will buy more gyros. act like my parent or guardian....and i'll move out like last time...but i don"t expect me around x-mas

yes, I agree, I think it certainly should be feasible to make it just take the level once from where its powered up. I emailed about this, but basically got the liablility issue and was told never to switch between modes like I'm being ignored.
