Default About OS 50SX-H

I am new to nitro powered heli, having flown only electric so far. I would like to know if there is a way to minimize the need to tune this engine as the thought of tuning every now and then really worries me. I have bought Velo 50 kit and may sell it if i have to spend lots of time on engine adjustment. I plan on buying this engine. Guess i did not do my homework well before buying the kit. Thank you.

Nitro engines aren't that difficult to tune. Once you find the sweet spot you'll move the mixture needles very little. I have been running my tt x50b for about six months now and only moved the mixture needles to adjust for the weather change here in California.

It is not hard to tune and run a 50 engine, I very rarely have to alter mine. Here is a very good write up in tuning.

I hope this helps.
