Once you see it, you have to "ACT QUICK".
I checked Dylan stuff twice a day (Like stock market). And once I saw them I buy it and it sold out next day...

Not the best price but they ship fast even from Hong Kong (3 days to West Coast Canada plus 1-2 day Canada Customs). Great customer service from Benny.

Is the Hawk the same as the Oversky? I have seen posts where the Hawk gets hot and I have seen posts that say the Oversky has a built in delay for easy programing.

Has anybody ordered directly from Oversky? I have had problems with other companies in China before.

Same as Oversky. Been running that ESC with hp05s/9T. Never hot. Can barely feel some warmth. Have done 6-8sec max thrust bursts (100g+ continuous thrust) with canopy on and charger temp sensor strapped to ESC and temp reading saturated at 32C.

Yes, built-in delay to detect max throttle at startup for easy programming. That is, no need for separate power to trigger program mode.

It would appear that it certainly is one of the better ones. Dylan wouldn't carry it otherwise.

Just curious to know if anyone has actually tried the Spin 16K or 915 combo with this new 10amp ESC?

I just got mine from Dylan and will probably use it for a 915 conversion. As soon as I can save up enough money for it!

There has been report of heat or even burnt-out problem with the 10A and spin/TA motors. My personal experience with hp05s is good so far. I reserve my evaluation on the 10A version with hotter motors because I don't have one hotter setup than hp05s/9T/550mAh. But for the simplicity of the setup with more basic BL motors, the 6A/10A are good.

I actually emailed the folks at Hawk asking if there were any report of probs using the Spin or 915 motors and they replied saying they had not tested these motors. The also recommended using only the C05, M5, and HPO5 with the 10amp ESC. Will be interesting to see how NCcraig makes out, or if it goes "pooof".

Hi guys, I'm using the spin 16k motor ith the 10A esc, and if I have the canopy on this esc will melt the foam connecting the esc to the board. Im using the 9T pinion, but thinbking about dropping to an 8T. With the canopy off, it stays warm. Not hot, but warm..

I notice that im only getting about 2:30 mins before it shuts down on me. Is that because of the pinion im running? Or is that a safety feature in the esc itself?
