I am please to announce the maiden flight of my Whiplash Gasser on 9/14/2013. I'd like to thank everyone here who helped answer questions along the the way. Special thanks to Raja and Carey. Here is my configuration.

It was VERY unhappy with my new engine, but once I have about 2 gal of fuel through it & dialed the needles it locked in and is vibe/twitch free.Half the price of the BD, (I know that's less than the price of a crash), but I'll just have to pay closer attention. As I progress, and funds allow I might try the BD, but for now I just couldn't justify it. |
