I'm running 12s with the 15T pinion, but I'm using 500KV motor. I'm using the ICE2 HV80 speed controller in gov mode.

I am using a 700mx 510kv on 12s and a Ice2 120hv ESC. I am using the gov function with RPM's set a IU1- 2000rpm and IU2-2175rpm. Per the calculator in the castle creations link software, 2200rpm has too little headroom utilizing the stock 15-tooth pinion. To be honest, at 2000rpm this heli flies very nice with very authoritative pitch pumps. I really don't see a need to mess with the pinion at this point.

Default 12S

Im running 12s1P with Quantum 560KV motor and 13 tooth. HS is about 2100 at 85% for phase sensor governor. Batteries are warm not hot with consistent power thru 3-4 mins.
