Default RUDDER MOVEMENT WITH CYCLIC INPUT?

What's up guys? i have the sk540 on my rush 750 with protek servos. i've noticed on the bench that when i give cyclic input aileron or elevator my tail moves significantly. is this normal? if not is there a setting in the sk540 software to fix this?

On the tail tab there's an option for Cyclic Mix. The default is 0. This is the tail pre-compensation. Normally only needed for collective. If there is a value set there, change it to 0.

Note you have to have the interface set to 3d tuning or Advanced to see the setting.

Hook up the gyro to the software. This disables the gyros and also gives a live display of what is coming from the Rx. Activate the cyclic and see if there is any movement on the collective channel or the rudder channel. Note that tail movement with collective input is normal. If collective or the tail channel is mixed with aileron or elevator you will see it here. If you see it likely there is some mixing happening on the Tx.

Also, on some radios you can see the result of mixing on the servo monitor screen right on the Tx. You can do that test without the gyro even powered up.
