Default AD wild with stock tail = awesome!

Hi

I just wanted to say how great the wild 16500kv HP03spe v2 motor is on the nano cpx with the stock tail! I'm using the XP03 esc and the Hyperion 180 batteries get a good 4 mins flight. I added the xtreme dfc complete head and there main shaft. AUW=31.5g with battery and it flies lock solid in gov arm mode like a mad wasp on red bull

I prefer it to my double brushless as the lightness makes it so much more fun. I think it's time to try to reduce the weight of my double brushless...

Nice one Dylan

Do 180's fit the same skids as 240's?
I like the 45C Eflite 150's in my similar bird but only get 3 minutes of flight. 2.5 of hard stuff. I think it will get better when I get rid of a vibe issue.

Hey does the DFC head help solve the zero pitch jitters?

No they need their own slip on adapter as the 240's do...

Here http://astroid-designs.myshopify.com...battery-mounts

Super easy mod and they can be took off and replaced with the other size easy. So both size batteries can be used.

Are the 180s batteries better than the 240's? The first battery I used with my wild pjacq setup was the 240's and I got good flight time and all the bird just felt a little heavy you know I had to learn to steer it a little tighter to keep small hurricanes and funnels going because of the extra speed it needs to carry the weight through the circle.

I want to try some 200 mah lipos with stock skids soon how do they compare to those?

Well where they lack in mAh they make up for in lightness. The 240's I think are best for double brushless conversions and that's what infuse there. For just the main motor conversion the 180's are fantastic. It really pays to keep the weight down on the nano cpx. What some of these after sales manufacturers are thinking I don't know! I got me the rakon frame with boom supports and it turns the nano into an air hog! Yes it flies, but like you say you really have to watch drift and I say it's best just for flying replicas, scale look.
