Default T-REX 800DFC

No heli will please everybody. Would be pretty boring if we all flew the same thing.

It sounds like the 700DFC skids might work if you don't like the style. I think these are following along with the trend to CF skids but maintaining the Align styling to match with the tail fin.

Canopy colors are a difficult choice. It seems the uglier something is, the easier it is to keep orientation. Probably like not being able to look away from a tragic accident. LOL Being Align, you know there will be other designs coming from Fusuno and Canomod before too long. Or you can take some Sam paper and spray paint and do whatever colors you want.

I was just checking out the unboxing pics on Flying Hobby. I noticed the link between the plastic end and the DFC arm now has a little section that flexes. Awesome!

One downside I see is the motor mount does not adjust. Unless there will be different sized main gears users are sort of locked into a single gear ratio. I guess for guys that want to bump up the headspeed it will mean different motor, more cells, or filing out the holes in the frame.

You could get a KDE adjustable motor mount.

Aligntrexstrore is showing $100 off but is not so good for UK customers as the shipping of the 800 is a minimum $139 and then we have import taxes... eeek. So, RC711 is $1799 and free shipping.

AlignTrex Store good people! Nice addition on the head and grips are marks to align the grips to 0 degrees. Skids width is narrower then a stock 700E..

Hi nmdesertracer could you please confirm that the new DFC link has a flexible part on it?
That’s what looks like from the pictures!

had to mount the 7200 on the side in the front. The manual shows the esc fitting on the side but just didnt like how it fit in there. So I chopped off the gyro mount so I can mount the esc on top.

Maidened the bird today the landing skids are more bouncy then a 700. Not a bad bouncy but flexes little more. Bird is super quiet in the air unless your doing 3d etc. Very happy. Probably gonna get wider skids for her.
