Thanks bro... Only issue is it doesn't show what goes between the grip and o ring, which is what I need.. Haha. Figures.

Stock had in this order: One step washer at the inner grip bearing, 3 shims then the rubber damper in the center hub. All your doing is replacing plastic grips with aluminium so all that should stay the same. OK? Don't forget to use a little loc tite to fasten the grips back on. That's the only thing that keep the blades from flying off the machine and possibly hitting you or someone else.

If its too loose you have to use more than 3 shims per side. Put it together first without loc tite to test it and get it properly shimmed. I always loc tite one side to start with. That way the one side not loc tited always comes loose when taking it back apart.

I have the Micro grips on one of my SR's, but I'm afraid to touch it for it might upset the delicate balance there LOL I can't remember how many shims are in the thing....

I'm pretty sure on mine I used the stock spindle shim set up without issue. There's a picture of the proper spindle/shaft/shim/O-ring set up in SR bible sticky atop the SR forum main page.
