OK it's a ESC with included BEC, but with "only" 6 A continuous and 12 A peak, should be fine, but...
The BEC I ordered is good for 20 A continuous so I think there wil be plenty of power reserves with this one.
And in the case the ESC would go nuts, I will at least have a chance to autorotate.

I think you will be fine with the YEP HV 120A for sure......especially if you a using a separate BEC for servo powers. I will probably do the same as you with my setup.
After my 550 Pro DFC crash last week, I am converting mine to the 550L Dominator version with several parts. I will also get the YEP 120 HV as it is rated to run 4-12 cells and run a direct 2s lipo for my HV servos.

Merci pour votre message privee. Je serai en contact avec vous bientout. Desolee, mon francais ne pas tres bon.

How is the new esc?
I have a 550 pro dfc that melted 2 talons.
It sounds like the bec failed in yours...The second and last was the opposite for me. Internal bec failed and let all 6 cells hit everything.
All fried up to including the gyro, servos and receiver.
Upgraded to edge 100. Now getting over current errors. Wish I went 120 and thinking it might have been another manufacture...
