Pwm. 10
Don't touch special beeps at all.
Instead, to calibrate throttle end points, plug packs in with throttle at 100% wait for tones, pull stick down,more tones unplug. Done.

I have not touched my YGE for quite some time. Don't even remember what I set. But it works every time so I am not worried. As far as I remember though the retail box for the motor said 8Khz PWM and that is most likely what I have set. Timing always at 18 for any brushless outrunner.

But you really have to try the governor store. Works great!

(Kv x volts x poles count / 20)

... pick the kHz pwm setting closest in the esc.

Timing for outrunners is 18* or higher.

what settings you got for I-gain and p-gain default? I set-up the gov, I find around 2700 headspeed is good, I don't know how you guys are flying around with 2300 headspeed or lower? I am using magic mirror for readings

I'm running 1950 / 2050 / 2150 on the SK720BE.

I'm also running the 4525-520 Ultimate

Wish I could answer your questions better but I'm using a different configuration.

Scorpion say 8khz on the motor but I run 12khz. The YGE and Scorpion run rough at 8khz in my experience.

Poles = the # of magnetic poles
Volts = # cells x 3.7v (44.4v for 12S)
Kv = motor kv

Eg... my 4525-520
Poles = 10
Volts = 44.4v
Kv = 520kv

So ....
(10 x 44.4v x 520kv) / 20 = 11, 544

... almost 12khz

2700
Must be something off with your tach readings. That would be freakin crazy on a 700 and pretty unsafe.
Must be x2 so more like 1350 which is low and would lead you to think lower would suck, which it kinda does.

Make sure you're in the right starting range with the MM or you get false results. Start at 1500 and work upward on the MM.

For the cutout ... which esc are you using again?

Default loving my 7HV

I'd go through the yge settings again and start from scratch. Make sure you don't touch the special beep bit at the bottom. Also leave I @ P gains for now as you won't need to touch these unless your using the gov and in most cases still not needed.

Also once you've done the prog card bit, Calibrate the throttle end points.

If its still doing it then I'm at a loss on afraid. Maybe try another motor.
