How can I fix my Loose Tail Boom 450 Pro DFC??/
Hi my firends,
I Noticed my 450 tail boom is not tight and have some play. All the screws on the torque tube mount all very tight but seems like the mount is not making pressure over the tail boom. Does somebody had this problem before?? Any advise on how to fix it . Thanks for the help guys!!!

Classic problem... happens to many of us!
You can: Wrap a piece of scotch tape around the boom before inserting it; or Pin the boom using a small screw through the boom holder into the boom; or "Paint" the boom with some thick CA and let it dry before inserting it.

A layer or two of scotch tape will usually take care of it.

Another option is to take the boom block apart then sand/file down each side on the inside of the back end of it(only the back end where the boom slides in!!!) so that it will pinch the boom tighter. That's what I do to all mine. Even brand new ones. Gives it a much tighter fit then there is no tape or pinning the boom. However the tape is easier. I just prefer doing it this way.

As said above, do definitely pin the boom. Even with the tape, there's nothing mechanical to hold the boom in the boom mount until you pin it.

Before I upgraded to the tarot metal boom holder I pinned the boom - worked great. The Tarot metal boom mount eliminates the issue, and makes it easier to swap out tail gears.
Of course as soon as I put the easy gear replacement boom mount in, I haven't stripped a gear since.... |

I'll 4th or 5th the tarot metal boom block! It's awesome. Using one on my flybarless 450 and no need to pin or tape the boom at all. Holds like a vise!

I did the Tarot Tail boom block.
It works very well. I love it. but it took two attempts at getting it right because my dumb A** could not understand which hole was meant for which screw.!!! It makes a differenc....but what a difference and all that entertainment value for just $17.....
