Sounds like a really bad gear mesh or something.
Hmm, I thought it was about 'as expected'. The SR was pretty loud (compared to my 450 pro for example), too and had a pretty high headspeed. This headspeed is higher, and it's a more powerful heli overall (compared to the SR). My T250 FBL was pretty loud too, due to the headspeed.

That, and with a proper camera (usually camcorder or dedicated video camera) they're insanely good at picking up sound and use these crazy directional mics that zoom in with the focal length. So, if you zoom into the heli and point it at it, it will really pick up the sound and 'focus' on it.

Not sure if that' is adding to it...

...or, I suppose it could also be some slop from flying the crap out of it - I'm sure he's got a ton of flights on it.

I knew to expect motor and blade noise, but there is a distinctive ticking sound like a broken gear, or bad mesh on the TT gears or main gear. You can hear it more as he finishes the flight, goes to normal then TH.

has anyone seen the guai x2 heli in person? its slightly bigger than trex 250.

the balde 300x will be the same size as the x2

Nice size and will be fast and hard to see when it gets away from you.

If you like that size heli it will be a hoot

me personally I cant handle working on a heli smaller than a 450 size.
