Default What receiver to buy?

Got my new 700e (feeling intimidated about the build) and I'm wanting to run a 2S for my radio and servos. I've got a JR receiver laying around from my X9303, but not wanting to use a BEC. Was thinking about another AR7100R (got one in my Vibe50 directly into a 2S 4200mAh), that way I can go low voltage for the tail servo, but I'm using high voltage cyclic servos on the Vibe.

Going with a Castle HV110 ESC. Got a castle link to program it.

So will I need a BEC between my HV110 and the receiver?

Is the AR7100R overkill because I don't need a rev limiter?

Feeling a little overwhelmed with this build, first flybarless, and big electric.

Thanks

Mate the AR7100 is the perfect choice,i run mine with a 2s lipo through a 6v regulator, that way there is no voltage issue..it is a fuss free setup that works.

Doesn't the AR7100 have a Internal 5.2V 2A regulator for throttle, gear, rudder, and aux 2?
Dual outputs on the throttle and gear channels (regulated to 5.2V and unregulated). Is the regulator really needed? I did buy a CC BEC PRO, wondering if I really need it.

Thanks for the reply, looks like a easy setup.

that is why i did not buy a BEC Pro,the regulator i bought simply goes inline in between the 2s lipo and the AR7100 and that way i am not getting 7.2v going to my cyclic servos, although some are doing that and getting along ok i thought for a few dollars why not have the security of a steady 6v going too the cyclics.i do not like any of the reports i have read on the BEC pro.

I'm running the AR7100 with the 2S direct to the receiver, no BEC. Working great so far.

Thanks for the replies, I'll take the BEC PRO back and just get the AR7100.
