How about a cracked 5 in 1? Would that also cause the same problems?

It's possible, but most of the instances I've witnessed or experienced as described involved a bad batt connector, frayed wire, or internally broken main motor connector.

I'll get a new 5 in 1 in a couple of weeks, when the new tail assemblies get here. Meanwhile is there anything I can do to try to diagnose this problem? Visual inspection of the wires and connectors, and what else?
Is there no spell checker on this thing??? |

A note on Microheli upgrades
Hey All,
Sure glad I found this as I wondered the same thing about my main shaft leaning out to the right....now I know!! I upgraded (full MC CNC upgrades.....and yes I know there can be some performance hits.....I'm learning....it is definately a bit sluggish). With the MC main frame and main shaft you get a poker straight completely vertical shaft....no leaning. It still has some of the left bank drift at take-off, but no worse than the stock bird. Just my 2 cents Cheers |

I took another look over the weekend.....I guess it was an optical illusion because the CNC stuff leans out to the right if looking from the tail....same as stock heli. Sorry for any confusion Cheers |

i had the same issue with glitching from time to time. took it to work one night and played around trying to solve the problem. i fixed mine by moving the ant wire away from the board and taking one wind off the peg. in my case, i feel that the wire was to close to the board and was picking up the glitch there. runs like a watch now. hope this might help.

Weird!
Yep, mine tilts to the right (looking from tail end) and the whole frame\fuselage cocks even more when hovering and in flight. I originally thought I had a defective unit, even though it flies smooth and straight, but this sticky has reassured my faith in the mSR....just looks so darn WEIRD?!
