Hopefully you weren't inverted when the bolt either broke or backed out.

I got the same blade on my 700 twice , one bolt break and one loosened up and backed out.

Sadly I haven't found those brass spacers separate from the full tail clamp/fin setup

I used some smaller (outer diameter) washers and make a stack up.

Helps to sand a bevel on the backside of the tailboom clamp , allows extra room for the end of the strut ball end.

Personally I've given up on the stock setup.

After tightening up the 2.5mm bolts the 3mm go loose , repeat this process a few times and all 4 bolts are over torqued and ready to break. To loose and they'll back out , even with a over generous amount of locktite.

I'm now running the lynx 1 pc logo 600 tail clamp.

LX0078A - I think they've been discontinued , so it might take a bit to find a NOS one.

One piece clamp with a single bolt to clamp down with , much like a mast collar (proven to hold) , then bolts up from the bottom (replacement struts come preglued). No provisions for a fin though.

Another thing to do is to take some Velcro strap and just in front of the strut end , do one wrap around then poke a small hole in the middle , then put a tywrap thru hole a tighten up. Take the the other end and go OVER the tail control rod and repeat for the other strut. Now when the bolt break or comes loose (oh it will) , the strap will keep the strut from going into blades if inverted. Heli will make an odd humming noise with only one strut (see I said they'd break again)
