Default Dx7 (new) not going over 7.7v

so i got a new DX7 and got one of my helis up and running after a nice little crash and i cant get my transmitter to charge fully it goes to 7.7 and thats it, then it cuts off at 7.4 so i dont get much flying time, could my battery be bad? its a Li-ion 2s. the battery is suppose to have an internal charger i believe, thanks

How long are you leaving it plugged in? It's a pretty slow charger, you need to leave it plugged in overnight.

I have the same radio and that battery was a pos. It seems to drain slowly on its own. I swapped it out for the pulse RX battery. The pulse battery lasts way longer! Only down side is you have to remove the battery to charge it
